   August 28th: the festival has remarkably achieved its first edition last 21st and 22nd of August !

Excellent bands and templars have shown impressive performance. The volunteers organisation (almost everybody) has given its best and took a lot of pleasure. The audience was alive and dancing, however much too small. Many other festivals have known that, we will get back to this point.

August 18th: dear friends of Rock and Templars, be welcome, this is your site. The Rock Knights association and the Domaine de Gaillac, close to La Couvertoirade in Aveyron, are pleased to propose you a weekend of legend starting from this Saturday 21st at 10am. Are you going to be part of it?

June 6th : WASH MASH, rock band from the Aveyron area, will open the evening of August 22nd !  

 May 29th: plenty of news ! The 21st of August will start with an AC/DC Tribute "Furious Watts", recommended by Francis Zegut from RTL.

On August 22nd, the Rock Knights festival will be honored to welcome the former drummer of STATUS QUO, John Coghlan who will play all the golden singles from of the early era of SQ!

And right before the original band of RORY GALLAGHER, "TASTE" will put you on your knees with their kicking Irish boogie rock.

To get warmed up a tribute to the DOORS and Jimi HENDRIX will be played by MARLEEN.

May 2nd : other bands to be announced for the night of 22nd of August !

Welcome to Rock Knights!

 A festival that brings together Rock and Templar Knights, interested? Great, this is the plan! 

It is scheduled for August 21+22, 2010 near the village of "La Couvertoirade" (at the Domaine de Gaillac) on the magnificent area of the Larzac, south of Aveyron in the Midi Pyrénées region (one hour north of Montpellier or Beziers).

The festival is called "Rock Knights" which comes from the name of the association (French 1901 law, see "Who are we" for details) in charge of its organization. Its ambition is to bring together Knights of both Rock and of the Medieval age.

The mood aims to be artistic and theatrical in an atmosphere made for fans of the medieval age and of English speaking rock and pop bands - in other words "oldies but goldies". Room will be available for a convention and we have in mind having some fans participate to the sound and video boards...pretty exciting, isn't it?

 The number of entries and tickets will remain limited to 5,000 due to the available space of our selected site.
